.My goodness, this cartoon... It used to be one of my favorites just before I move on to my pre-teen years.
It was one of my first contacts with Japanese culture. I was sad as I discovered that this was canceled.

I completely understand everything. It was because of Sam Register leaving CN and that was why the legendary iconic show was taken off the air unfortunately.
Ami and Yumi were both of my favorite characters and their pet cats were cool too. I loved that show since I was younger and Hi Hi Puffy Ami Yumi deserves more credit and way better than this! Plus, the actors and actresses should reprise their roles as the characters if the show ever does make a triumphant comeback with a good number of episodes and a few seasons possibly.
